Playing with ProMarkers.....

ProMarkers, (similar to Copic Markers) - I've seen them used on lots of Blogs and Craft sites.
So, I thought I would invest in a few colours, to see what all the fuss was about!!

....and the Verdict, Love 'em!!

I love the way they blend and colour. Great for colouring in rubber-stamps.

..and the best part was, when I visited my local craft store recently, they were on Half Price!! So just had to buy a few more!!

Anyway, here are a couple of ATC's showing my first attempt with the ProMarkers.

Their faces are hand-drawn using the ProMarkers.

...justed added some paper flowers, gems, beads,butterfly wings on a Tim Holtz stamped background.

Romance is in the air?

Whoo, it's been nearly a couple of weeks since my last post!!!

Have been busy here with the Summer School Holidays, Sunny days (Yes we have had a couple :) !!!) etc...

So the crafting has been a little neglected here! (Am starting to have withdrawl symptoms LOL!)

I've also had another Birthday!!! and this month I celebrated my 20th Wedding Anniversary (Ahhh!)

So with that in mind, I have created this little card...

....another Summer ATC - Beach Time

I bought some RANGER Memory Glass & Frames ages ago!! ...and have just recently played with them!!

From this.....

To this....

I Distressed and stamped the background paper, 'Beach Time' words and the Image of the bathing lady.

Framed the cossie clad lady image in between the memory glass, and framed with the memory glass frame.

Glued some 'sea' coloured beads and a little metal starfish charm to the glass.

Tied some fibres and added another charm (shell-like) to the link at the top of the frame.

Stuck the frame and words to the ATC

.....then added some German scrap to the writing.

Voila.... 'Beach Time'

Summer Holiday ATC's

Been raining a lot here lately!! Hopefully our Summer in the UK will start soon!!

Anyway,I've been doing some great Summer holiday ATC trades just recently.

Here is a card, I made for my friend Linda....

'Beach Babe'

I used a Crafty Individuals Stamp (CI -119)

Coloured with distressing inks, pencils & a gold pen

Altered a little puzzle piece, stamped and wrapped with wire and beads, and embossed the edges.

(I give all the credit to Linda for this fabby jigsaw piece idea,she sent me an atc with an altered puzzle piece, wrapped with wire & beads, and I loved it so much, that I had to make one!!)

Then just added a few little beads and embellies ...

August Celebrations!

Wow! Can't believe it's August already!!

Where has this year gone?

August is my favourite month, that' s maybe because It's my birthday on the 8th!! It's also my friend Tina's birthday on the same day, Not only does she share the same birthday, but she also has the same birth year. So I suppose that makes us birthday twins?!!!

Anyway, Tina and I have been good friends for 20+ years, and we hand-make each other birthday cards each year (She is so creative!) ..and I've just recently introduced her to the idea of ATC's ! :)

Here is the card I made for her, for 'our' upcoming birthday... I know I'm safe showing it on here, because she wont be looking in before the weekend!
