Pay it Forward Yummyness!

A little while ago, Joanna from fiddlesnips had a post about

 Pay it Forward

Where, you have promise something handmade to the FIRST 5 people who leave a comment , However, to be eligible, you must repost the status, offering something handmade to 5 other people, and so on....

Well, I signed up to Jo's, but only managed to tempt 1 taker (Jen - Jenxo) on my post back in January  !!!

So what I decided to do, was to still send out My 5 PIF gifts... 1 to Jen,  and the other 4 has surprise RAK's (Jo being one of them)

 ..and this is the Brilliant and soooo Creative PIF gift from Jo that arrived on my doorstep last week...

A Gorgeous altered postcard ,beautifully collaged - I love Jo's creative style, and this is so Jo!

...and lookie at those sweet altered scrabble tiles and rack!

I love miniature art, so I absolutely adore these little cute tiles!

If you take a closer peek, Jo has cleverly personalised my scrabble rack

If you take the initial from each of the tiles words it spells out my full name!

How cool is that!

Well, my 5 PIF gifts have now been made, packaged and posted,

All slightly different

 I can show you this, has Jo has received it now.

So, I made this one for Jo (fiddlesnips)

I altered a large size matchbox with papers, then collaged it with some sewing pattern and paint.

I used my new Tim Holtz die 'sewing room dress form'

cut from fabric and card

Added some lace

..and these adorable lace wings (which I really didn't want to part with) but hey, Jo is worth it after the lovelies that she sent to me  !!

...tied some vintage style binding ribbon around the dress

...and a cute (Tim) Trinket pin

The drawer pull I made from a button,cotton reel, wrapped with some measuring tape.

...and filled it with some goodies

...so you can only imagine, how I felt, when I got it in my hot little hands !!

Soooo Pretty in Pink!

Crammed full, with all the little things that I adore!

...sweet little shoes, keys, lace, ribbons, cabachon, angel, beads, bottle etc....

But my favourite thing, that's if I can choose a fave out of all those gorgeous goodies has to be these....

I'm fascinated by the lil frozen Charlotte dolls

So was ever so chuffed to receive one :)

Can't wait to use that in an altered art project of some kind.

I ADORE  IT  !

My Hubby says that little Motto was Soooooo made for me  !!

...and for once we agree LOL !  ;)

The theme this month was 'Birds'

So here is my birdy offering for my swap partner ....

Made a lil nest from a crochet flower

and filled it with some teenie eggs

...some real twigs

edged in lemon  lace and some sweet little tulle and flower trim :)

I won't show what goodies are inside, that will be a surprise for my swap partner

..what a Fabby Combo
I 'm a denim gal, I live in Jeans!
So just had to join in with this one..

...both of these requirements need to feature in your project in some way

So here is my Layout for the challenge.

I decided to 'scrap' my Barney Boy in a project..
...complete with denim and lots of lovely lace.
-oOo-

I used some DENIM patches cut from some old jeans.

I also made this DENIM flower using my Tim Holtz  'tattered florals' die. 

.

I have had these 'life's journey' buttons in my stash for a little while 

and thought this was the perfect LO for them!

...and lots of lovely LACE

I can't believe that my rambunctious little pup will be One year old at the end of this month.

Barney is still a little handful !!

Still chewing EVERYTHING in sight !

We try to wear him out with long country walks

and some doggy agility, which he LOVES !!

...But, ME THINKS  I am the only one getting worn out, trying to keep up with him  LOL

Speckled Egg Petite Inspiration Box Swap

 I am participating in the Speckled Egg Petite Inspiration Box Swap 

 The theme of this swap is Flea Market Finds , the idea is to decorate the box and fill it to brim with inspiration/artsy goodies that you would find if you were shopping at a flea market.

My swap partners are Jen from Texas and Elizabeth from Oklahoma

From our emails, we all seemed to like the similar things

Jen's fave colour is pink ( mine too !) and Elizabeth said she gravitated towards blues !

...and how beautiful is this Quiltie

which was made by Doreen of Creative Meanderings

My photo, does this art piece no justice!

This Quiltie was made using strips of patchwork fabric that have been woven through thread warps which you can see in the photo. (Looks ever so complicated!!)

and then embellished  with machine and hand embroidery.

Wow, you are very talented Doreen, Thank you so much for my gift!
