I'm still here

.....and slowly catching up with all of you.

I blame the lovely Sunny weather and the Busy Spring Hols

for keeping me away from the 'puter!!

Talking of Spring, ...

 Challenge #22

 this month over at

Let's Get Shabby

is all about being inspired

 by Beatrix Potter's

 gorgeous characters and  illustrations!

This challenge could be representative of

EASTER or SPRING

or anything to do with babies or children

-oOo-

I was inspired by the soft pastel colours

the sweet bunnies and other furry critters.

..and just knew what photo I wanted to scrap...

Here is my layout...

...containing my own little furry critter

..(my youngest aged around 4, dressed as a squeaky lil mouse for a school play)

He is in his teens now, so would most probably be mortified that I posted this sweet pic of him !

I used a vintage greetings card behind his photo.

Spring is in the air...

nests with eggs, pastel blooms and bunnies

I found this lovely pic of a mother reading to her three children in my craft stash and thought it would be perfectly apt to add in my LO. (distressed with a little paint)

Oh, lovely memories of reading to my own three sons when they were smaller.

A Teaser for (The swap for all seasons) Mother's day brooch swap

I was sooooo pleased to get

 Mothers day brooch swap

over at The Swap for all Seasons.
(Thank you Linda for another Great swap idea !)

..but also a little nervous (OK a lot nervous !!)
 because Michele is Uber Talented and has a Lovely Inspirational blog, 

....and an whole etsy shop full of wonderful brooches and other vintage treasures !!

So..... I'm hoping she will like my little offering !!
It may be small, but it was made with love !!
