Oh My Gosh!! Fabby Shabby Mail day!! & Marvelous Matchboxes!!

Spring into Summer Matchbox swap

...and if that wasn't enough gorgeousness in the mail,
I couldn't believe it, more fabulous mail!!
I recently took part in a matchbox swap with Penny over at
..we had to alter some little matchboxes in the theme...

..and these are the little treasures I received in return..

This is the beautiful 'natural' matchbox and goodies that I received from Penny (Host)
Sweet little Linen altered box
with stamped terracotta pots, lace and beads!!
...and lookie at the lovely 'homespun' fabric in the background
this was also a gift from Penny - Thank you so much!
..can't wait to use it in a project!!




...and WOW! this brilliant idea is from Jo at fiddlesnips.
I love her rustic potting shed box
with little trowel charm and string
..filled with sweet little seed packets!!!

..it came in it's own sweet little knitted bag!
..covered in papers, feather, twig and string!

If you made this for the swap - I adore it!!
The matchbox is covered in paper, embossed, and a little shell transfer.
..it opens to reveal an image of a man strutting his stuff on the beach!!
