Honestly, from reading my blog, anyone would think I would like altering these lil boxes!!
Well, there is a new Flickr group called
run by the Lovely Lesley
...and the first swap THEME is
Gold and Glamour
The matchbox I covered in 'Tim holtz idealogy paper'
Altered a puzzle piece with a Crafty Individuals image
...added some beads on wires.
...a little bit of embossing
..then glossy accents to finish it off
(Oh, added the Gold crown and birdy charm before the glossy accent dried!)
Some gold german scrap on the box and drawer
...filled with some golden treasure!!
(which will remain a surprise for my swap partner Jeanie)
Thanks for Looking

Dear Jan, I am so very delighted to see the wonderful matchboxes you have created. I love all the pretty details that you have decorated them with. You have done a fabulous job on them! They are gorgeous!
I thought I'd left a comment, popped back for another look and realised I hadn't - it was only in my head. Do you have days like that?!
Your matchboxes are superb and this one is no exception. You couldn't get much more gold and glamourous than that! Love the perfect crown placement.
